About Rockville Housing Enterprises (RHE)

Rockville Housing Enterprises was established in 1955 as the City of Rockville’s Public Housing Agency providing affordable housing opportunities for citizen of Rockville. RHE is an independent agency that functions under Federal and State law, but was created by the Rockville Mayor and Council for the purpose of investigating the need for building and administering such affordable housing. Oversight of RHE is provided by the RHE Board of Commissioners. Appointed by The City of Rockville Mayor and City Council, the RHE Board members serve as volunteers without compensation.

To be an effective and innovative agency dedicated to providing opportunities for self-sufficiency and the creation and preservation of  quality, affordable housing for citizens of the City of Rockville.
